The gaming industry has been developing over these couple of years, and ever since then, people has been interested in games and the development. These games help people relax, exercise the mind, and make you experience a new world within. It’s true that adults considered it children’s a “toy,” but now they’re even using cell phone games in order to pass the time. The gaming industry has gone through a lot of various changes in order to fulfill the needs/wants of the public. We have gone through arcade/counsel games to portable/online games. One of the concepts already introduced by writers is the ability to play a game that allows you to experience it with your 5 senses (Virtual Reality Gaming).
The animations series called “Hack” first introduced this concept to me. The characters are basically found in an online game called “The World.” This game contains a lot of servers distributed around the world, and each server has a certain town or village that will be available to the player. When a player logs in, they materialize in the town server that they last visited. A chaos gate in these servers’ teleport players to certain areas depending on the keyword combinations he/she places. These keywords will give you determined parameters like difficulty, terrain, and weather. In these areas, you might find dungeons and other places were monsters/treasure is located.
I know this is one of the gaming projects industries will want to invest in. It will make a lot of different type of people interested as well (it would have many functions; a new form of interaction/communication with people, experience, game play, etc…). A police force has to be in play if this game concept would ever go out in the market. Crime is no exception within a virtual reality game.
